- Official sources first. Tourism boards, the Office of Public Works, national parks, councils, the attraction's own website and the transport operators. Reputable publishers come next.
- Every page lists its sources with the date each one was checked.
- No prices, opening hours or timetables. They change too often. We tell you when to check and link the operator.
- Area advice, not hotel lists. Our stay guides compare towns and parts of town. We do not name hotels we have not checked.
- Drive times in the trip planner come from OpenStreetMap routing with 15 per cent added for Irish roads.
- No paid placements. Nobody pays to appear in a guide.
